Ok I messed around using Gimp earlier today and I have a couple sigs here that I need some advice and opinion on....

They all look nice I just think a border would fit. Maybe that is just me tho Good job!

I like them but some of the textures make it hard to see.

The first two are really cool imo! I love textures, and these all look good except the texture on the last one is not as sharp as I would like.

If you're using Photoshop I can give you some tips on how to add any texture you like

I don't like the fonts. But that may be personal preference. You can download free fonts all day long, FYI, it's a wonderful thing

Yeah... I know on the Rainbow 6 one and the Girlies got it one it is a little hard to see... I like the last two I posted and the very 1st one...

All of the others I used Gimp for and I really like the ones I have done in there... Which one is it that you are talking about the texture on?

Those two are my least favorite then, I like the ones you did in Gimp much better. I've a feeling you were using filters to texturize though. I never like the way Photoshop does that. The best way to texturize in Photoshop is to use an image overlay. Which is more advanced, probably. I've never used Gimp but it seems to put out some pretty nice results for people who are just beginning to make graphics...which makes me think maybe it's a bit more user friendly to start out on

I think you can do just as much with gimp as you can with photoshop, but it is done in different ways... So you like the Call of Duty one and the Sweet, but Deadly one?
